Jeremiah 31:13 “Then shall a maiden rejoice in a dance, and young men and old, together. And I shall turn their mourning to joy, and shall comfort them, and shall make them rejoice from their sorrow,”
Ecclesiastes 3:4 tells us there is a time to mourn and a time to dance. At Melo HaGoyim we believe this is the time to dance, knowing that our Wonderful Messiah is coming to retrieve His bride from the diaspora. We dance during Feast days and whenever we feel like rejoicing before The Father.
Our dance team is lead by Lori Byers who is skilled in Hebrew Worship dance. Dancing with her Mother Rabbis Aviyah for over 20 years, she has danced with many greats such as Danny BenShalom of Jerusalem Israel and the late Ruthy Slann of Karmiel USA Dance Camp. She not only leads the team, but she also choreographs dance routines to lift up the Name of YAHWEH in Praise. She continues the legacy of helping to maintain the ancient dances passed down through generations through the fundamentals of worship circle dance.
Dance Instructor Rabbis Aviyah Byers has lead Hebrew Worship Dance for over 20 years. She was trained under Danny BenShalom and Ruthy Slann of Karmiel USA Dance Camp. She has produced the “Dancing with Alvita” dance video series that was distributed across the US teaching Hebrew Worship dance to many.
